Eatello is operated by CM Propositions. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use the Eatello mobile app and related services.
We only collect information needed to provide the service. We do not sell personal information.
Information we collect
- Account data — If you sign in with Apple, we may receive an account identifier and, if you choose to share it, your name and email.
- Meal planning preferences — Region, shop, budget, dietary needs, equipment, and nutrition profile selections. These may include dietary information, but Eatello is not a medical service.
- Saved content — Meal plans, shopping lists, and history you choose to save when signed in.
- Subscription status — Whether you have an active premium subscription. We do not store payment card details.
- Diagnostics — Basic crash and reliability data, only where enabled, to improve app stability.
How we use information
- Generate and personalise weekly meal plans
- Save and sync your plans across devices
- Manage premium subscription access
- Provide customer support and improve reliability
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for unrelated advertising profiles.
Payments
Premium subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store (or Google Play when available). Payment processing is handled by the app store or its payment providers. Eatello does not receive or store your payment card details.
Third-party services
We use trusted third-party providers to operate Eatello, including:
- Cloud hosting and database services
- Authentication services
- Subscription and purchase management services
- App store billing services
- AI and infrastructure providers used to generate meal plans and operate app functionality
- Diagnostics and reliability tools, where enabled
These providers process information only as needed to provide, secure, and improve Eatello.
Examples may include services such as Supabase, RevenueCat, Apple, and AI infrastructure providers. The specific providers we use may change over time.
Data storage & security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including secure cloud storage and access controls. Authentication tokens on iOS are stored in the device keychain where supported.
